An outstanding fountain pen with an impressive size and appearance, the Namiki's Pilot Emperor Carp on Waterfall Fountain Pen is an exquisite collection due to its good omen – Koi fish known to bring good luck and fortune to the owner. Kirikane is evident on the rocks, a typical illustration of glimmer on the rocks. Gold dust was sprinkled on the foreground to create glitter that looks like the Japanese Nashiji pear to embellish the foreground on the pen. Taka maki-e and Togidashi maki-e are used on the golden carp to give it a 3-D view. The pen has an eyedropper filling system with 18kt gold medium (B) nib imprinted with Mt. Fuji emblem.
